For children with special needs and the families who love them, early intervention can change everything. Our goal is to provide exceptional, Christ centered education and therapeutic services that help children grow, families find support, and hope take root.
Early Intervention Developmental Program
Birth Through Age Six
Harbor Day School offers a tuition free, early intervention developmental program for children from birth through age six. Our program is recognized for its highly individualized approach, combining education, therapy, and faith in a nurturing environment.
Each of our classrooms is led by a qualified teacher and associate teacher and supported by a collaborative team of therapists, including speech, occupational, and physical therapists. Together, they use a transdisciplinary approach to design individualized programs that help children reach developmental milestones many once thought were out of reach.
Dedicated volunteers work alongside our staff during regular class hours, offering additional support, encouragement, and care.
Classes are held year round with seasonal three week breaks. Please refer to the school calendar for specific dates.
Parent Training and Community
Supporting Families Along the Way
At Harbor Day School, we believe caring for families is just as important as caring for children.
Monthly parent trainings are available to families whose children are currently enrolled, as well as families on our waiting list.
These gatherings are designed to equip parents and caregivers with practical tools, resources, and hands-on guidance to support their child’s development with confidence.
Parent trainings also provide space for connection. Families are able to learn from one another, share experiences, and find encouragement within a community that understands their journey. Meetings typically last about an hour and a half and take place monthly.

Our Waiting List
Hope While You Wait
Currently, Harbor Day School has a waiting list of children seeking enrollment. Due to demand, the typical wait time ranges from 18 to 24 months.
We understand that waiting can feel discouraging. You are not alone, and support does not stop while you wait.
Families on our waiting list are invited to participate in parent trainings and receive resources designed to encourage and equip them during this season. In some cases, wait times may be shorter than expected as availability changes.
